About

I have a PhD in Sociology from the LSE where my research looked at the information infrastructure of land registration in England and Wales and ‘offshore’ property ownership.

\

Before this I studied for a MPhil in Modern Soceity and Global Transformation at Cambridge University and BA in International Relations and Security Studies at the Univerity of Bradford.

\

After completing my PhD I moved onto Oxford University where I worked as a Research Associate in Finance and Geography as part of the CityNet Team.

\

Prior to starting at Warwick I was an Associate Lecturer in Geography and Data Visualisation at UCL where I taught Cartography and Data Visualisation to undergraduate and masters students. While teaching at UCL I also worked as CIVICA Open Social Science Researcher at the LSE.

\

I am currenlty working on the ESRC funded project ‘Can Digital Goods be Neutral? Evaluating OpenStreetMap’s equity through participatory data visualisation’ with Dr Carlos Cámara-Menoyo.
